Help right now

Somazone cannot give you answers or help immediately, so if you think or feel like you are in danger, or if someone you know is, call the Police on 000.

If you, your friend or someone that you know needs to speak to someone right now, call:

  • Kids Helpline
    Tel: 1800 55 1800
24/7 anonymous and confidential counselling for 5–25 year olds

OR

  • Lifeline
    Tel: 13 11 14
24/7 anonymous and confidential counselling, support and referral for everyone

These helplines are answered by trained counsellors who can listen to you and try to work out a way to deal with whatever is happening in your life. Speaking to someone and asking for a bit of help can make it heaps easier to deal with what's going on. The Kids Helpline and Lifeline are confidential—you don't have to give them any details about yourself, you can be anonymous. The counsellors are non-judgemental—they will not tell you what to do. They are there to listen and help.

If you want to talk to someone in person, check out our services directory for details of services nearest to you.
