Today my pimples just suddenly came back again, worse than before.
Q.
Hi, I am 23 years old. After a few days of eating a mango my body suddenly exploded full of pimples, especially on my back and shoulders. I do not know whether this is some kind of disease or is it possible that this is the symptom of an allergy? I used to have a lot of pimples on my chest and on my back in the past couple of years. But for the last 2 to 3 years my body seemed to be fine and all my pimples were gone without any reason. Today my pimples just suddenly came back again, worse than before. I am really not comfortable, what should I do in my case? I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks.

It is possible that the sudden occurrence of pimples may have been related to eating the mango, like a type of delayed-allergy reaction. It would be best to see your doctor for a check up to exclude this possibility.Pimples can "flare" up when you are overtired, stressed or from certain medications/drugs, including steroids. Occasionally it is due to a "surge" in hormones, but if this were the case, the pimples would be expected to settle down fairly quickly. If you are worried, see your local doctor.
