Hi there :) I recently got into a bit of a problem: I kissed a 17 year old who is 18 in about 4 weeks. I feel a bit guilty about it because i kind of find her to be pretty young. I wasn't thinking straight---she looks old and mature.
I will ensure it doesn't happen again, but what's the legal stance in this instance? All that happened was we exchanged kisses---that was it.

It sounds like you are very aware and respectful of age boundaries. However this isn't a situation where there is a legal stance. Perhaps you need to go easier on yourself and move some of that guilt. If the kissing was consensual (i.e. you both agreed to it), there is nothing wrong with what happened. If you both had consented to having sex that also would be legal. It would be illegal for you to have sex with this person if she were under 16 years old.
