I think my foreskin has stopped growing. My penis is also bent slightly.

Q.
Since I was about 14 i think my foreskin has stopped growing. It no longer covers the entire head of my penis. My penis is also bent slightly to the left and up.
A.

Hi. Thanks for your question.

Like every other part of us, the penis and foreskin can come in different shapes and sizes. The foreskin can vary in length in different guys. It can be quite long or it can be a bit shorter and not fully cover the head (or glans) of the penis. This is completely normal so is nothing to worry about.

Also the penis, foreskin and testicles continue to change and develop right through the teenage years, so it's quite normal that you have noticed things changing, and probably will until you are around 18. Your penis may have continued to grow whereas the foreskin may have slowed or stopped.

A bend in the penis is common and just another normal variation too. It usually means that a guy has a bit more spongy tissue on one side of the penis than the other, so when it fills with blood during an erection it bends or curves more to one side.

A slight bend should not interfere with having sex at all. It's only if a guy has an extreme bend that it can be a problem with sex.

The only time you should get it checked out is if it's only just started to happen or is getting worse or painful. There is something called Peyronie's disease that causes a curve in the penis that gets worse over time, and needs to be seen to and treated.

If the curve becomes more obvious or starts to become more of a problem you should see a doctor and have a chat about it.

All the best and take care.
