Is it normal for me to feel like I have to pee right before I orgasm?
Hi, I am a young-ish masturbator and I have a simple question: Is it normal for me to feel like I have to pee right before I orgasm?
See the thing is, I never really know when I come and when I don't because I get several spasm-ing (muscle contractions and relaxations) moments throughout my whole masturbating experience. I've always thought that right after I feel like I have to pee, I come. But I'm too scared to release because I think I'll wet my bed.
But here's the other peculiar thing: several times after I've masturbated late at night, fallen to sleep and woken up in the morning, I have a big white spot on my sheets. So am I coming? Or is this just lubricant?
I know I should ask my mom, who is a nurse, but I'm too embarrassed to tell her I'm masturbating and besides she'll give me a big long lecture about sex and being safe and I don't wanna deal with that. So will you please answer my question? It is much appreciated if you do!
Hi there and thanks for getting in contact with us.
Many women can feel like they are going to pee when they are about to orgasm, or they feel that the sensation of actually wanting to pee stops them from having one. Why not try and see what happens! You could put a towel and some plastic on the bed if you are worried that you will pee, cos then there wouldn't be a mess if you did. And remember that you would be doing this in private so no one else would have to know if you did!
Most women do produce a lot of vaginal fluid when they're sexually stimulated (turned on), and some actually ejaculate when they have an orgasm, so this could be what is on the sheet in the morning.
Would it be so bad if you talked to your mom about this stuff? She probably only wants to make sure you are looking out for yourself. Research clearly shows that young people who are more connected to their familles have lower poor health outcomes, such as unplanned pregnancy and STIs.
It would be great to be able to talk to her, but I understand that you may feel freaked about that and that's okay! You could say "I have a friend, and this is kinda embarrassing, but I said I would ask you since you are a nurse...is it possible for a woman to pee herself if she is masturbating to the point of orgasm...?" and see where the discussion goes from there.
If not, just consider giving her a chance, if you do decide to start being sexually active at some point in the future, so she can support you in making healthy sexual choices in the future. Although I clearly don't need to spell it out to you, remember to use a condom every time to protect yourself! Good luck and take care.
