Hi, i'm 15 and lately i've been masturbating quite a lot. Only fingering though (no objects). And when I orgasm, I bleed! It doesn't carry on after that though. Have I got an infection or something??
I'm scared that if I do something with my boyfriend i'll bleed then too. And I really really don't want to go see a doctor if possible! I'm scared something is seriously wrong with me!
Hi there and thanks for your question. I am not sure what is happening for you here. It is an unusual symptom. It may be nothing to worry about but then again it may be.
Unusual bleeding can indicate an infection, but it may not be that. If you have not had sex yet then it is unlikely to be an infection. If you have had sex it could possibly be a sexually transmissible infection (STI). Depending on the cause, it may happen if you have sex with your boyfriend.
It is important that you see a doctor. I know that it must feel difficult and embarrassing for you but you do really need to. Remember that doctors are used to seeing people about these things all the time. If you have a family planning or sexual health clinic anywhere near you that would be the best place to start, otherwise any female doctor that you feel comfortable with would be good. It may not be anything to worry about but unless you see a doctor you won't know, and if it is anything serious then you need to have it seen to. It will feel better to know what is going on.
