Hi there. Probably by now, either your period has showed up or you have done a pregnancy test.

If you have taken a risk with having sex without using contraception, it's very possible that you would be pregnant. When you are young, you are at your most fertile and nature doesn't ask us first before starting a pregnancy!

If you haven't done a pregnancy test and your period hasn't shown up, you should have one. It can be either a blood or urine test. Pregnancy urine tests are available at chemists. Blood pregnancy tests can be done by your doctor.

If you are pregnant, what would you want to do? Would you want to continue the pregnancy or try to have a termination? You will need some support in all this because these are hard decisions. Look on this website (see "international links" link below) for some services in your country.

Some women are more sensitive to the early signs of pregnancy and you could be one of them. Or you might be feeling worried about your late period and feeling sick and stressed with that. If this is a false alarm (and you aren't pregnant), use this as a warning to get onto a good type of contraception. Your doctor can help you with this.
