Is there any way I could find out whether he likes me without asking him?
I really like this guy in my class and we talk a fair bit in class but I'm not sure if I like him back. He is really nice and I help him out with work sometimes and we have great fun together but I don't have any idea on how to tell if he likes me.

Everyone wonders these sort of questions. How can I tell if he likes me? What do I feel about him? It's always a good sign when you enjoy someone's company (they make you laugh, you like to spend time with them, and they like to spend time with you).
But do they like you as a friend or as more than a friend? Only time will tell, but keep doing the things you are both enjoying. Being friends is a great basis to build on for boyfriend-girlfriend (if it happens).
Sometimes asking your friends can be a good way to find out something if you're feeling too shy to ask.
