There's this guy that added me on Facebook. I don't like him. I have no idea what to do!??

Q.

There's this guy that added me on Facebook. I've never meet him but he was friends with a lot of people i know. I've just broken up from a long term relationship so i'm still getting over that.

This guy who's added me always talks to me and says i'm beautiful but i don't feel the same way and never will. I don't know how to tell him... and he seems kinda creepy. He wants to meet up all the time but lucky i am actually busy and i say i can't.

I've heard about all the old guys who pretend to be younger men and i'm worried that this is something like that. I don't want to keep talking to him because it's just odd and i don't like him. I have no idea what to do!??

A.

Hi. The first thing to do is to delete him from your Facebook friends list. If you don't actually see him then you don't have to talk with him at all. Even if you are not busy you don't have to meet up with him.

Your Facebook page is your space and you are in charge of who you are friends with on there. It can be a hassle when your friends are friends with people you don't know or don't want to know, so you need to be careful about what information you let others see about your page. In the privacy settings in your Facebook account you can change who can see your posts etc.

If your sense is that this is creepy, it's really important to listen to your inner reactions—they are mostly always right. If you don't want to talk with him you don't have to.

Hope this helps. Check out the links below for more advice, and take care.
