In the case of Percocet it can not only be addictive, but when taken in high doses or over a long period of time it can cause a number of problems including liver damage. Snorting drugs that are meant to be taken by mouth adds the risk as snorting can cause a more rapid rise in the concentration of the drug in the blood stream and may prove toxic to the heart, brain or other parts of the body. You also risk inhaling it into your lungs where it can irritate them. This is especially important if you have a respiratory condition such as asthma.
