Is it true that the faster you eat the more weight you put on?
What are the fattiest foods you can ever eat?? Is it true that the faster you eat the more weight you put on? Can you please just give me some information on how to put weight on and stuff? :D Thanks xx
Hi there and thanks for your question. It looks as though you're interested in putting on weight. First of all I'm going to tell you that the most important thing for your body is how healthy you are, not how much you weigh.
People put on weight in all sorts of ways. Some people eat lots of fatty food, like fried food, sweets and junk food, and some people build up their muscles so that they weigh more. Eating fatty food and putting on fat is not a healthy way of gaining weight. Eating faster isn't going to help you to gain weight—it's more likely to make you feel sick because you might not be able to tell when you're full if you're eating too quickly.
There are lots of reasons why some people gain weight and some don't. Genetics and lifestyle have a lot to do with this. Some people are just naturally skinny and have a fast metabolism which means that their body burns energy very quickly. Some people have a slow metabolism, which means that they burn energy slowly. There isn't anything that you can do about genetics and metabolism, it's just the way that you are.
Lifestyle can affect your weight—if you don't do any exercise you're most likely to gain weight in the form of fat. If you do lots of exercise and tone your body, you're more likely to gain weight in the form of muscle. This is a more healthy way of gaining weight. Talk to your doctor or physical education teacher about ways of building up your muscle. You could also talk to somebody at your local gym about healthy ways of gaining weight. Take care and good luck.
