I have a 'fat face'. I'm almost 17 so i don't think it's still 'baby fat' so i was wondering what i could do to get rid of the extra fat?
Q.
I just need a little advice as on what to do. It's nothing major but i have a 'fat face'. I mean i'm skinny everywhere else and then my face is just like chubby. I'm almost 17 so i don't think it's still 'baby fat' so i was just wondering what i could do to maybe get rid of the extra fat? Are there any exercises for the face? That sounds odd but i don't like how i look so chubby up there and nowhere else; it's off balance. So if you could suggest anything that'd be great!

Hi there and thanks for writing in. The shape of our bodies and faces are genetically determined and so there are some things we can change and some things we can't change. It is important to have a healthy balanced diet and to exercise regularly as this will help maintain body weight. There are exercises for the face and in particular toning up a double chin. There are make up tricks you can use to get your face to appear thinner also. I have included a website for you to have a look at below (the first one) as it goes through different face shapes. It may also be helpful for you to have a talk with your doctor to explore other options.
Take care.
